If you’re looking for Reformer Pilates in Leyton or South Woodford, you’re in the right place. Our specialist classes offer a full-body workout that strengthens, lengthens, and restores balance to your body.

Using the Reformer machine, you’ll move through controlled exercises designed to build core strength, improve flexibility, and enhance posture and alignment — all with the guidance of our experienced instructors.

This low-impact workout is suitable for all fitness levels, helping you feel stronger, more stable, and more connected to your body with every class.

Our Classes

L1: Reformer Pilates

This class is perfect for those who are completely new to Reformer Pilates, anyone returning to Reformer Pilates after a long break, or recovering from an injury. In this class we take things much slower and get to grips with the basics in order to set you up with a solid foundation before moving onto one of our L2 classes.

If you're pregnant and less than 20 weeks, you may be able to attend this class if you’ve been doing Reformer Pilates consistently before you were pregnant, but please contact the studio first before booking.

L2: Reformer Pilates

This class is great for those who have some prior experience with Reformer Pilates. This class caters for a variety of levels, so throughout the class you’ll be offered different variations to make exercises less or more challenging. If you’re completely new to Reformer Pilates, we would recommend attending either the L1 Reformer Flow classes, or one of the 4 week beginners courses before joining this class.

L3: Reformer Pilates

L3 Reformer Pilates is great for anyone who’s been doing Reformer Pilates for a while and wants to challenge themselves with some of the more advanced exercises and choreography. This class is not suitable for those who are new to Reformer Pilates or anyone who is pregnant.

Reformer Pilates is a great way to keep moving during pregnancy. Our prenatal Reformer Pilates class is taught by a prenatal expert and will be tailored to your needs whilst pregnant. 

Prenatal Reformer Pilates

Power Reformer

In Power Reformer we pick up the pace, work with more reps, more resistance and challenge our endurance. We also incorporate the jumpboard and weights so expect to get sweaty! This class is not suitable for complete beginners or anyone pregnant. 

L2/3: Reformer Pilates

The bridge between our L2 and L3 classes. Expect creative, high-energy moves, advanced variations and energising transitions that help build strength, control and coordination. You’ll move with purpose, find your flow, and finish feeling strong, focused and accomplished.

Not suitable for complete beginners. Not suitable in pregnancy.

Women’s Only Reformer

These classes are led by female instructors.

You will be welcomed by a friendly member of staff into our (mixed) reception area and shown to the correct studio.

We will ensure you have complete privacy by closing the doors and blinds so you can practise with freedom.

Stretch & Release Reformer

This low-impact class is designed to give your muscles a thorough stretch. If you're seeking improved flexibility from an active lifestyle, or you’re an expectant mother looking to create more mobility through your changing body, this gentle yet effective class will support your body, aid recovery and is the perfect way to wind down. This class welcomes all levels and experience.

New to Pause?

Try one of our 30min Free Taster sessions

This 30 min taster session is great for anyone who is new to reformer Pilates and is perhaps a little bit nervous about attending a class. In this session we'll get to know the machine, learning what all the different parts of it do and we'll even get to try some basic exercises.

By the end of this class you will hopefully feel more confident about attending one of our beginner reformer Pilates classes.

This class is not suitable during pregnancy.
